Refund & cancellation policy

The short version
You get 30 days free, with no card. Once a paid period starts, we don’t refund it — but you can cancel any time to stop the next one, and you keep access until the period you’ve paid for ends.
Your 30-day trial exists so you never have to guess
Every account starts with 30 days of full access and we don't ask for a card to begin. That's deliberate: it means you can decide whether Manutio is worth paying for while risking nothing at all. By the time any money changes hands, you've had a month to use the product on your own properties.
Payments aren't accidental
You are only ever charged after entering card details yourself and confirming a subscription. We don't take a card up front, so there's no situation where a payment happens because you forgot you'd handed one over at signup.
We don't refund periods that have already started
Once a monthly or annual period begins, that payment isn't refundable. This is why the trial is as long as it is — the time to decide is before you subscribe, not after.
Cancelling is instant, and takes effect at the end of the period
You can cancel from the billing page at any time, without emailing anyone or explaining yourself. Your account stays fully usable until the period you've already paid for runs out — you don't lose the time you bought.
Cancel before your renewal date
Renewals are automatic, and the date is always shown on your billing page. If you don't want the next period, cancel before that date. Forgetting to cancel isn't grounds for a refund, but see below — we're not robots about it.
Genuine mistakes: talk to us
If something has actually gone wrong — you were charged twice, billed after cancelling, or the service was unusable through our fault — contact us and we'll put it right. This policy exists to set a clear default, not to hide behind.
Your legal rights are unaffected
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law. If you're buying as a consumer rather than in the course of a business, you may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of subscribing; where that applies, it takes precedence over this policy.
